Commercial Payments Products Director
- Participates in industry and customer forums to understand and anticipates market trends and innovation needs.
- Collaborates with partners to build the business case and set the platform agenda for next generation payments.
- Drives a compelling product and platform vision for Comerica that allows for speed to market of new capabilities and differentiated customer experiences alongside business value.
- Lead payment modernization efforts driving a vision and strategy towards a services-oriented, API-first architecture.
- Drives innovation in payment products and delivers across internet, mobile, and API channels to stay competitive and meet evolving customer needs.
- Influences payments outside of Comerica: acts as a voice for Comerica in the industry, participates in payment bodies, and influences partners on roadmaps and key decisions.
- Creates a compelling continuum of card solutions across all customer segments and seeks to remove barriers to pay through new digital and virtual card solutions.
- Explore and develop new business models and solutions, such as Banking as a Service (BaaS) and virtual accounts for in-house banking, to expand revenue streams and serve a broader range of customers.
- Champions a culture of end-to-end product management and ensures product managers understand product risks and controls meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of security and reliability.
- Ensures that every aspect of the product lifecycle, from ideation to retirement, is managed effectively and consistently leveraging corporate tools like RCSA to ensure consistent risk management practices.
- Implements standards such as ISO20022 to keep the bank at the forefront of payment technology.
- Influences executives and senior stakeholders to successfully deliver by navigating between big ideas and execution realities; lead by example with data informed decision making.
- Continuously cultivates an agile culture: deliver value incrementally focusing on minimum viable product and championing a culture of fail-fast.
- Champions a culture of end-to-end product management and ensures product managers understand product risks and controls meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of security and reliability.

Salary:
For candidates hired in the state of California and New York the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently:
- California – $190,000 – $370,000 Annually
- New York – $190,000 – $370,000 Annually
