Manager CRMP Middle Office Manager
- Provide consistent and effective leadership in accordance with HR policies and procedures.
- Provide management direction and support to direct reports and various indirect resources.
- Promote a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Lead process inventory development and process mapping across the enterprise.
- Identify opportunities for centralization, process improvement and automation of operational processes and controls.
- Collaborate with upstream/downstream colleagues to ensure end-to-end processes occur without interruption.
- Proactively identify issues that impact collateral operations including failed controls, financial reporting, and lead resolution effort.
- Creates periodic report templates and dashboards outlining relevant operational metrics.
- Play lead role in operationalizing the new enterprise platform that will automate existing manual tasks and allow for real time reporting, improving the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Lead projects and change management initiatives that have enterprise collateral impacts.
- Participate in projects related to other business units which may have change management and risk impacts to collateral processes, procedures and reporting.
- Participate in enterprise projects including Process Change Management and Process Simplification as required.
- Lead identification, development and implementation of strategy for risk assessment, risk appetite, risk measurement, risk reduction and mitigation.
- Drive development of a centralized collateral management system (CMS) framework.
- Develop and implement reporting of key compliance and operational risk indicators with as an early warning system.
- Proactively self-identify operational, third-party, compliance, reputational, liquidity and market risk focused gaps and issues.
- Develop and implement self-monitoring of collateral compliance and operational controls through an annual monitoring plan.
- Identify and implement control and process automation opportunities.
- 4-year bachelor’s degree
- 7 years Financial Services operations (middle office and/or back office) experience
- 7 years working within a risk and collateral management framework
- 2 years Leading teams or directly managing individuals
- 4 years Software implementation and/or management Experience
- 3 years’ experience in Securities and Investment Banking operation with a strong understanding of how the function "fits" within the broader organization
- 3 years similar middle/back-office software knowledge experience
