Military & Veterans
We Love our jobs, you should too.
Hear from our Veterans
"Here at Comerica, we recognize the value of having an organization comprised of individuals that each have their own unique life experiences. I, personally, spent nearly a decade as an officer within the US Army, and Comerica is the first company I’ve worked at that truly recognize the depth and gravity of my time within the military. Comerica’s commitment to hiring, developing, and supporting our veteran and military population is truly inspiring."
Hear from our Veterans
“Comerica is commited to hiring, developing, and recruiting veterans. I have been an employee with Comerica for 12 years and have connected with other veterans through our Veteran Employee Resource Group. Comerica understands the value of veterans in the workplace. As an Air Force veteran, I have felt that my unique experiences and military training are important to Comerica.”
Hear from our Veterans
"Throughout history, military leaders have recognized that teamwork is crucial to the success of any mission. The camaraderie I experienced with fellow soldiers during my service in the US Army was invaluable and is often difficult to convey to those outside the military. Fortunately, working at Comerica has offered me a similar sense of connection. Leading a team of colleagues who genuinely encourage and respect one another, within a company that fosters excellence through teamwork, is truly priceless. At Comerica, one of our core values, “One Comerica”, emphasizes that growth is best achieved when we act with a common purpose toward shared goals."

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve
Comerica Bank signed a Statement of Support for the National Guard and Reserve.
The Statement of Support confirms Comerica Bank joins other employers in pledging:
We fully recognize, honor and comply with the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-Employment Rights Act (USERRA).
Our managers and supervisors will have the tools they need to effectively manage those employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve.
We appreciate the values, leadership and unique skills service members bring to the workforce and will encourage opportunities to hire Guardsmen, Reservists and Veterans.
We will continually recognize and support our country’s service members and their families in peace, in crises and in war.
The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve is a Department of Defense agency established in 1972 to develop and maintain employer support for Guard and Reserve service. ESGR advocates relevant initiatives, recognizes outstanding support, increases awareness of applicable laws, and resolves conflict between service members and employers. Paramount to ESGR’s mission is encouraging the employment of Guardsmen and Reservists who bring integrity, global perspective and proven leadership to the civilian workforce.
A sense of mutual respect and mindfulness permeates our culture-in fact, it’s the key to our success.
