Alliance Investment Unit Manager, Vice President
The Alliance Investment Unit Manager role will be a professional collaboration between two great financial firms. Comerica’s alliance will allow clients to take advantage of Comerica Bank & Trust, N.A.’s professional trust administration capabilities, as well as the services of their Financial Advisor, delivered through a customized, service driven model. The Trust Alliance Investment Unit Manager role will be responsible for leading and directing a team of investment professionals, who in turns will be responsible for the oversight of new business and the due diligence/risk management of our Alliance partners who manage our client’s investments.

Position Responsibilities:
Risk Management & Investment Oversight
Risk Management & Investment Oversight
- Ensure timely completion of investment reviews.
- Review and provide guidance on asset/investment allocations.
- Adhere to Comerica’s investment policies and procedures
New Business Development Support
- Assist Alliance Business Development Officers in the evaluation of new business opportunities.
- Conduct pre-acceptance due diligence of new accounts’ investment holdings.
Onboard new accounts.
Partner Due Diligence and Oversight
- Conduct annual partner meetings to review current investment platforms.
- Perform annual due diligence of Partner suitability within Comerica business objectives and criteria.
Leadership and Management
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members creating opportunities for growth and development within their roles.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- 10 years of experience in investment management
- 5 years of experience in management
